Doors

Ever since I was young, I've had this fascination with doors. Doors of all types and sizes and shapes and colors have grabbed my attention. They are specific places of transition and they hold change within their substance. Just as doors have varied shapes and forms, so does change. Most often though, we come upon change with only a glimpse of what lies beyond.
RED doors in particular have caught my eye over the years. Maybe because it seems bold and bright, welcoming stares and strangers.
Something about a door both beckons me and causes pause within as well. What lies beyond? With the possibility for tension surrounding change, it is almost impossible not to give in to the curiousity of a solitary door.
